We're acquiring
land with power

Land and buildings connected to the grid, or close to a connection, across Europe. We develop them from there. If you own one, hold rights over one, or act for the owner, tell us about it below. You don't need a plan to start the conversation.

Powered land, one site at a time

Pure Core is acquiring land and buildings that are connected to the grid, or close to it, and developing them. We call that powered land, and what the term covers depends on the grid operator: we explain it in what powered land means in the Nordics. Most of our work is in the Nordics, where we have a team on the ground, and we look at sites anywhere in Europe where the land and the power line up. Every site is looked at on its own.

Sites come in different shapes. We have a page on former industrial sites, one on land with a grid connection, one on municipal and industrial park land, one on grid connection capacity and one for brokers and advisors. For a country view, see Norway, Sweden and Finland.

How we look at a site

We assess the grid capacity

Power comes first. We study the lines and substations around a site, and what a connection would take. We deal with the grid operator ourselves.

We assess the zoning plan

Every municipality divides its land into zones: industry, homes, farmland, forest. We check where a site sits in that plan and what it allows, and we work with the municipality when something has to change.

We evaluate the permits the building needs

The land shapes the building. We study the terrain and the access, and the permits a building there would need. Our teams handle that paperwork with the authorities.

Three ways people come to us

If you own the site

You own land or a building that's connected to the grid, or sits near a line or a substation. It might be a closed mill, a factory, a warehouse or an empty plot in an industrial zone. Tell us where it is and what you know. If you don't know something, say so.

  • Warehouses and buildings
  • Plots in industrial zones

If you hold rights over a site

You have a lease, an agreement or a grid application on a site. Send what you have, as it stands, whatever shape it's in. If you'd like an NDA in place before you share details, write to sites@purecore.ai first.

If you act for the owner

You're a broker, an advisor or a consultant acting for an owner or a developer. You don't need to name your client in the form. Attach whatever you already have, as it is. We work with brokers and advisors.

Tell us about your site

Tell us about the site or what you're looking for. A few lines are enough, and a teaser helps if you have one.

Where it is, what's on it, what you know about the power connection, and how you're linked to it. A few lines are enough.

Questions owners ask us

Do I need to know the capacity?

No. Tell us what you know about the connection, even if it's only that there is one.

Do I have to name a price?

No. The form doesn't ask for one.

What if I'm not the owner?

That's fine. Say how you're linked to the site in the form. You don't need to name the owner.

Do you only look at sites that already have a connection?

No. We look at land and buildings that are connected to the grid, and at those close to a connection. Tell us what you know about the line or the substation nearby, even if it isn't much.

Does a closed mill or factory count?

Yes. Closed mills, factories and warehouses are among the sites we look at, along with empty plots in industrial zones.

Does the land have to be zoned for industry?

Not always. The zoning plan is one of the first things we check, and we work with the municipality when something has to change.

Who will I be dealing with?

Our own team, led by founders who have spent years building and running energy-intensive sites. You can read more about our team and background.
