Capacity comes in positions
An application in a queue, a reservation and a signed agreement are different things, and each can carry conditions. In Norway, a reservation or a queue place holds only as long as the project keeps making sufficient progress. The place is taken back, after advance notice, when a significant deviation traces to something the customer answers for or carries the risk of. In Finland, an agreement takes effect on signature and payment of the connection fee, and a letter of intent reserves nothing. The rules country by country are laid out in the Nordic grids side by side.
What we mean by rights over a site
A lease, an agreement or a grid application, as on our land development page. Also a reservation or a connection agreement that a project holds on that site.
How we read it
We start from what the operator has put in writing, and when. Then we ask whether the load can be cut or limited, whether the position belongs to a project that is still moving, and whether a contribution is still to be paid. The first of those has a piece of its own on firm and non-firm grid connections.
What we don't do
We aren't a grid company, and we don't advise on how to move an application forward. We read what exists.
Questions we get
What if I only have an application?
Tell us anyway, at whatever stage it is. An application is a position we want to hear about.
Can we sign an NDA before I share details?
If you'd like one, write to sites@purecore.ai first.
What if the position is in someone else's name?
Say how you're linked to it. You don't need to name the holder.
Does the site have to be in the Nordics?
No. Most of our work is there, and we look across Europe.
